‘Behind the perfection of a man’s style, must lie the passion for the man’s soul’ – Oscar Wilde.
Meet SOLO. He comes across as unencumbered by the hype, and you can tell he’s the one to take time to work on his craft. Among other things, he’s dubbed the Lyricist and hailed a breath of fresh air in the Music Industry.
In a world filled with Beef, Slaps and Twitter rants – SOLO continues to have his eye on the price. Dreams. B. Plenty, Solo’s second 17 track album chats about Music, Success and Fashion.
“I enjoyed the fittings days before,” shares SOLO who donned suits by SIMONI Exclusive Menswear Collection for his PREVIDAR shoot at Lansaria Airport. “I like the work in progress when a suit is made from scratch, seeing it come to life. And the event itself is more about the reveal; that’s cool too.”
Would you say you’re a self-assured man?
“I am a self-assured man in many aspects of my adult life, a pretty confident person overall. I am, however, an artist. This means that I often have to work through some insecurities whilst creating, it makes my music more relatable.”
How important is a suit for a man?
A suit should only be important to a man should it reflect his actual identity. Kanye West is not really a fan of suits but has impacted the world of fashion in a major way “You ni**as wear suits cos you can’t dress no more” Kanye West, Last Call, 2004. It’s all relative I think.
