Today, ahead of an incredible summer of sport at the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025™, Adidas unveils a new collection of performance away kits created exclusively for Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, and Wales as they prepare to compete on the biggest stage in European football.
Designed to stand out on the pitch and in the stands, Adidas designers drew inspiration from the prominent artistic styles that define each nation’s cultural identity—from the realism and expressionism of Renaissance Italy to the graffiti street art that adorns modern German cities. The result is a series of contemporary, fashion-forward kits that bridge the gap between past and present.
Sam Handy, GM of Football at Adidas, said:
“The importance of the jersey cannot be understated – in both football and culture – it represents hope, passion, and a collective sense of unity that connects a nation ahead of a major tournament. For UEFA Women’s Euro 2025™, we focused our efforts on delivering performance-first kits, with contemporary designs that connect players and fans to the core visual DNA of each nation. We can’t wait to see these designs stand out on the pitch and in the stands in Switzerland this summer.”
With high-stakes matches ahead, players need kits that perform under pressure. The away kits incorporate Adidas’ leading technology, featuring either HEAT.RDY—optimized to keep players feeling comfortable—or AEROREADY, which uses sweat-wicking or absorbent materials to help athletes stay dry. Lighter crests and additional mesh panels further enhance airflow and comfort, ensuring players remain focused on the game.
Federation Away Kit Design Details
Belgium
Inspired by the abstract geometric patterns that emerged in Belgian art from the 1920s onwards, the kit features a striking yellow, red, and orange modern interpretation of the traditional RBFA red flame—an iconic symbol of the nation. A ‘Belgium’ sign-off on the neck incorporates a matching flame graphic.
Germany
Germany’s away kit pays tribute to the country’s vibrant street art scene. Striking lines in varying shades of red and pink are applied in a modern graffiti style, echoing the murals that adorn German cities. A yellow ‘Deutschland’ neck sign-off—designed in a spray paint style—completes the look.
Italy
Drawing from the Realism and Naturalism movements of the Renaissance, Italy’s jersey features life-like vine branches in differing shades of mint green across the front and back of the shirt. The design is finished with an ‘Italia’ neck sign-off.
Spain
Spain’s kit is inspired by the 20th-century Cubism movement, known for breaking down subjects into abstract forms. Pink and grey geometric shapes punctuate an off-white base, symbolizing a bold new era for Spain’s women’s national team.
Sweden
This eye-catching design celebrates pioneering Swedish artists who challenged traditional narratives through Abstract Expressionism. A bold blue gradient graphic, fading from dark to light.
