The finale saw Nthabiseng Senatle proving that she is Babes Wodumo’s biggest fan in the finale of the show! Nthabiseng walked away with R250 000 cash and a Honda Amaze in the finale.
Nthabiseng hoped that she would reach the final, but never imagined that she would actually win. “Making it to the final was amazing, but to then go on to proving I was Babes’ Smooothest Fan and ultimately winning incredible prizes just blew me away. I am very humbled and grateful for the opportunity to have been on Tropika Smoooth Fan and to have met my idol, Babes Wodumo,” Nthabiseng notes.
Babes Wodumo is thrilled that it was her fan that took first place in the finale. “My fans mean everything to me. They are the people that admire and recognise each and every thing that you do and make you want to work harder than ever before. Being on the show was something unlike anything else I have done before and I had so much fun engaging with my fans and being in the finale with Nthabiseng. It was so great to see one of my fans winning Tropika Smoooth Fan,” says Babes.
The first season of Tropika Smoooth Fan saw the biggest fans of Khaya Dladla, Babes Wodumo, Clement Maosa, Letoya Makhene, Jeannie D, Khanyi Mbau, Bonang and Somizi competing weekly and putting their celeb knowledge to the test for their share of incredible prizes and the title of the ultimate Smoooth Fan.
Miantha Roux, Marketing Manager: Beverages – Clover, is thrilled with how well received the show was across South Africa. “Tropika as a brand is all about fun and creating memorable moments and exciting experiences for fans – and Tropika Smoooth Fan ticked every single one of those boxes and more! Being on set and seeing how appreciative each and every one of the celebs was of their fans, and seeing how awestruck and inspired each super fan was to meet and engage with their favourite celeb – was something very special to witness. You can be sure that there will be many more exciting experiences and opportunities from Tropika in 2019. Watch this space…”
