On Monday night in New York City, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) presented its annual Fashion Awards at the American Museum of Natural History. It’s one of the biggest events of the year for industry insiders and creatives, as the ceremony aims to promote US designers on a global stage.
November started on a high note with Soweto Fashion Week launching its Spring/ Summer 23/24 collections. The Soweto Theatre was turned into a fashion frenzy with the Be Beautiful Hair pink carpet rolled out for the guests. The three-day fashion week ran from November 2 – 4. Before the main event, a glamorous launch soirée was hosted where the media and VIP guests were introduced to some of the designers showcasing this season.

PUMA and music artist, creative, and designer A$AP Rocky have officially announced a long-term creative partnership. Rooted in the motorsport business, A$AP Rocky will serve as the Creative Director for the category with a focus on the intersection of the sport and streetwear. Rocky will focus his energy and efforts on PUMA’s new partnership with F1, developing bespoke capsules designed by him, that will influence the brand’s seasonal design directions moving forward.
