DICKER’s SS17 collection was a runway hit at the weekend, when the designer Armand Dicker showcased his SS17 line at SA Menswear Fashion Week in Cape Town on Saturday, 9 July. The designer’s collection, entitled Sad Boys, was one of the highlights of the evening, with industry players and fashionistas alike serving anything but sadness when it came to the post-show reviews for the new collection.

This season, Dicker collaborated with the highly talented fashion illustrator and pattern maker, Davian Gertze, whose keen eye for aesthetics played a pivotal role in bringing the collection to life. Inspired by the organic flow and shadows one is accustomed to seeing on the Skeleton Coast in Namibia, DICKER’s collection has a clear focus on creating something impressionable and long lasting, but sustainable and environmentally friendly too.
Once again Jeep Footwear South Africa partnered with DICKER as its official footwear sponsor. Remaining true to the authenticity attached to the DICKER brand was once again a top priority for the two, when marrying the two together into the SS17 collection. The natural fit for the collection was the inclusion of the Hawk, Serengeti and Namib boots from the Jeep Footwear South Africa collection, which blended the two brands together perfectly.
