“Eternal Echoes,” a mesmerizing collection by visionary artist Leonardo V, invites viewers on a profound journey through the emotional landscapes of womanhood, resilience, and transformation. Inspired by the strength of Elsa La Masa and interpreted through the lens of Christina Estrada, this series of 50 pieces (seven of which are selected for this Art Issue) celebrates the timeless narratives that connect women across time and space.
For the past seven years, Leonardo V has dedicated himself to crafting these thought-provoking works. Each piece transcends the traditional boundaries of art, capturing not just images but emotions and stories that resonate deeply with the experiences of women throughout history. As viewers engage with “Eternal Echoes,” they are transported on an introspective journey, where each artwork acts as a bridge between different eras and cultures. The result is a powerful, ongoing conversation about the shared struggles, joys, and triumphs of women worldwide.
“The idea behind ‘Eternal Echoes’ is not just to create art, but to craft a narrative that speaks to the universal experience of womanhood,” says Leonardo V. “Every piece carries the weight of history, and every detail is carefully chosen to symbolize the resilience and strength that women embody.”

It’s an invitation to reflect on personal identity, shared history, and the interconnectedness of humanity.”
Through a seamless fusion of ancient and contemporary techniques, “Eternal Echoes” cultivates a conversation between different artistic traditions. This dialogue illuminates the enduring relevance of women’s stories, celebrating the beauty and complexity of life. The collection explores the concept of rebirth, drawing attention to how even in the face of adversity, beauty and strength emerge.
“I want the viewers to feel that the art isn’t just about the past or the present—it’s about the cycles of life, transformation, and renewal,” says Leonardo V. “Each piece is a visual representation of this idea, and through these artworks, I want to convey that beauty can rise from even the most challenging moments.”
