Hi, what are you looking for?

Grammy-winning artist Jason Mraz today released “Look For The Good,” the first single and title track from his latest album out June 19th through BMG.
“Look For The Good” is an all-encompassing philosophy for the musician, who has always focused on bringing optimism and positivity to the world, inspiring fans to find hope, even in challenging times.
“I never imagined a year ago when I wrote this album how timely its message would be,” said Mraz. “Regardless of a pandemic, people around the globe need constant hope. Period. I believe that can be self-generated by seeing good in everything, especially in the midst of tragedy and fear. I’ve always been an optimist in my life and in my music, and my hope with this album is that it inspires others to look at these dark times and witness the good that human beings are doing for their families and for each other. To look for the good is to practice gratitude. For me, I am grateful for the technologies that allow me to record and share my musical thoughts and grateful to the ears and hearts that feel them.”
Easy Star Records founder Michael Goldwasser (Matisyahu, Steel Pulse, Toots and the Maytals, and Easy Star All-Stars) produced Look For The Good at Mraz’s home studio in Southern California, and Goldwasser plus frequent collaborators Raining Jane, Abby Dorsey (MC Flow), and Jeff Berkley of esteemed San Diego duo Berkley Hart co-wrote the title track with Mraz.
Look For The Good captures Mraz’s career-long love for reggae music. Film and TV star Tiffany Haddish and Jamaican reggae icon Sister Carol make guest appearances on the album, which begins and ends with the same phrase: “look for the good.”  A full tracklist is available below, and the album is now available for preorder here.
Mraz originally revealed the news of the upcoming album on “La La La Livestream,” his weekly livestream via his YouTube channel, airing every Wednesday at 1 PM Eastern/10 AM Pacific.
Ahead of today’s release, Mraz took to his Instagram for a very special performance of “Look For The Good”  as part of #TogetherAtHome, an initiative presented by Global Citizen to celebrate the heroic efforts of community health workers and supporting the World Health Organization and the global fight to end COVID-19.
On Monday, Mraz will check in live from the Mranch (his home avocado and coffee farm) with Hoda and Jenna on NBC’s “Today” (check local listings) followed by an appearance that evening on “The Bachelor Presents: Listen To Your Heart,” airing on ABC at 8 PM Eastern/7 PM Central. On Wednesday, Mraz will join an array of activists, politicians, and celebrities including Joaquin Phoenix, Rev. William J. Barber II, Patricia Arquette, Stacey Abrams, and Al Gore for “Earth Day Live,” a three-day livestream and online mobilization led by youth climate leaders in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day.
