Celebs, media and foodies were given a real culinary experience as Steers launched its new My Burger promotion. The event, which took place at The Canteen at Arts on Main on the 21st of July, was hosted by media personality Bonang Matheba.

“I’m a total foodie and I’m so excited that there are people who actually appreciate a real burger. It’s quite refreshing that Steers has taken this step by giving consumers the freedom of choice to choose their own ingredients for their burger. This really is a celebration of our unique style and tastes and I’m thrilled to be hosting the industry’s finest here today,” said Matheba.

Guests were not only there for the food, but as part of the Made It Myself theme, a roundtable was held with Matheba with industry movers and shakers from various fields. The likes of AKA, Reason, Lootlove, Fifi Cooper, K Naomi, Sarah Langa and DJ Franky were present and also took part in the star-studded culinary experience.

“This marks the first time that Steers enters the customisation space and we are quite excited to be hosting some of the country’s most recognisable faces,” said Steers Marketing Executive Adolf Fourie. “My Burger is all about embracing our consumer’s individuality and it is the perfect option for those who enjoy making burgers their way,” added Fourie.
