Liberado launched music video in Cape Town at Saint club in Cape Town CBD.
Produced by the founder of one of Africa’s favourite online fashion magazines: Previdar Magazine, Lawrence Manyapelo – the #BeLiberado Anthem video stars popular choreographer and dancer Tarryn Alberts, and features songstresses Lady X, Moonchild Sannely, Hip Hop artist Priddy Ugly and up and coming DJ Dutchaz also known as Kasi Mlungu, to mention but a few.

In the story line, Tarryn wears a gold choker written “love” and walks into a garage where her uniquely dressed artist friends are all gathered to execute the #BeLiberado dance as a stance against oppression of self – acceptance and self-love.
Through a careful selection of trend setting South Africans who are thought leaders in the youth market, the video is a statement encouraging youth to embrace their unique identities and expressions.
According to Tarryn Alberts, the edgy yet aggressive dance moves reflect the everyday reality of the millennial fighting against the expectation from the world to be “normal like the rest”.
