For Sabrina, music isn’t just a career—it’s a way of life. Born into a music-loving family in Cameroon, where melodies filled every corner of her home, it was almost inevitable that she would become a singer-songwriter and performer. In 2020, her professional journey took off when she signed with AFROBIT Productions, marking the beginning of what has already been an extraordinary career.

Sabrina’s music is a celebration of Africa’s vibrancy and diversity, with her recently released EP, UNSTOPPABLE, showcasing her ability to merge genres like Amapiano, Makossa, and Bikutsi into something entirely unique. Whether collaborating with legends like Koffi Olomide and Charlotte Dipanda or working with international stars like D Smoke, Sabrina is constantly pushing boundaries and redefining sounds.

But behind the electrifying performances and groundbreaking music is a woman who treasures the simple joys of life. From family time to her love of sushi, here are the favourite things that keep Sabrina inspired and grounded.

Being Creative

It hasn’t always been easy for me to write songs and create good music, but creating is a process. Ever since I’ve been able to write songs and know exactly how I want my music to sound, being creative has become a moment of pleasure for me, and I truly enjoy it.

Family

My family has been incredibly supportive and encouraging in everything I do. Spending time together is always a source of joy, shared laughter, and good energy. I am especially grateful to my mum, who never misses an opportunity to remind me how proud she is of me.

Solo Time

I really value my time alone because it allows me to connect with myself. I have conversations with myself and work on figuring out how to be a better version of who I am.

Snacks

I love both savoury and sweet snacks, especially during video and photo shoots. I’ll have a quick snack to keep my energy up and then enjoy a proper meal once everything is done.

Gym

I enjoy going to the gym because I love looking good and staying fit. The gym helps me manage stress and regain focus when I feel distracted.

Doing My Makeup

Doing my makeup is like therapy for me. I love taking my time with it, without any pressure. Most of the time, I’ll put on a film to watch while I do my makeup.

Sushi

I could eat sushi every day! My favourite is tempura crunchy rolls.

Manicure and Pedicure

I feel clean and beautiful when my nails are done. I used to love long nails, but now I prefer keeping them short, neat, and comfortable while still looking beautiful.

Watching Films

In my free time, I love watching films. At the moment, my favourites are Nigerian comedies.

Music

Music makes me happy. Whether I’m listening to it or creating it, music makes me feel alive! When I’m happy, I listen to music; when I’m sad or uncertain, I turn to music. It’s truly my therapy.

Through these cherished moments, Sabrina finds strength and joy, crafting the melodies that make her one of Cameroon’s most exciting musical talents.
