Hi, what are you looking for?

A few weeks ago, Previdar was invited by Brutal Fruit to come and see some of SA’s most influential celebrities playing a game of netball to benefit the Pink Drive. This was not your typical game, the ladies brought their A-Game, hair and nails done and fabulous make up looks for all to see. Who would have thought.

We are used to seeing them grace SA’s TV screens or rocking the hottest designer get-ups, while smashing dance floors at VIP parties. Brutal Fruit challenged SA’s leading ladies to a game with a difference. The Brutal Fruit Celebrity Game saw a full house of South African celebrities embark on a shoulder-to-shoulder combat in efforts to raise breast cancer awareness.

From Jessica Nkosi, Lalla Hirayama, Roxy Burger, Lootlove,  Amanda Du Pont, Khanya Mkhangisa, KNaomi, Jay Anstey, Khanyi Mbau and Dance Music Queen Ms Cosmo. Super amped and charged celebrity participant Jessica Nkosi shared how thrilled she was about the game, “For me, this was one awesome opportunity to revisit a sport I have always loved since I was in high school. I’m excited to have partnered with the Brutal Fruit NPL, to bring more awareness to the need for gender equality and more female role models in the sporting fraternity”, said the bubbly actress.

“I think it is really great that we got to play the game whilst also creating awareness with my fellow industry colleagues about such a serious scourge – Cancer. I must say, it was truly exhilarating to see the ladies bring their star power to the netball court and showing SA how this is done and I was a super star on that court. *laughs*”,  concluded Roxy Burger.
