For A/W 2016, Vince Camuto designed a versatile footwear and handbag collection inspired by 60’s Chic, 70s Dreaming and Modern Retro themes.
A nod to mod, 60’s Chic is filled with wearable shoe silhouettes and haute handbags that work with everything from flared denim, A-line mini’s to body-con sheaths.
Among the standout footwear styles: sleek, pointed-toe flats and sky-high peep-toes designed with discreet platforms, d’Orsay vamps and ankle-hugging buckle straps. Sleek, hardware-detailed bucket bags and slouchy hobos finish the look. Directional fall fabrications include warm-toned Leopard Haircalf, Tumbled Nubuck, New Vachetta, classic patent and a groovy glazed metallic snakeskin.
Continuing spring’s hottest design trend
70’s Dreaming recalls the decade’s haute hippie vibe with styles crafted in artisanal-look leathers—Vintage Tumble, Waxy Distressed and snake and python stamping. Detailed with touches of fur and swingy fringe, the shoe collection includes sexy peep-toe shooties, stacked-heel booties and a rustic-strap platform sandal. The collection’s must-have bags include a rich cognac leather satchel and oversized bucket bag finished with long, flowy fringe. The 70’s back-to-the-earth feel is reflected in a variety of brown, tan, burnished cognac and wheat tones.

Modern Retro’s clean-lined ankle boots, updated ballet flats and minimalist ankle-strap heels pair sleekly with the Camuto Girl’s fall looks. A luxe leather tote lets her carry essentials in sleek style. Crafted in a palette of Italian Olive, Midnight Taupe, Khaki Grey and other dark neutrals, the collection features a variety of textured finishes, colorblocking and quilted details.
Echoing trends seen on runway and street
the Vince Camuto A/W 2016 footwear collection provides the busy Camuto Girl with chic, sophisticated options that carry her from workday to weekend.
